“You Make It Happen.” The mission of the Greater Hartford Festival of Jazz is to produce a world-class, free jazz festival that enlivens the cultural and economic vitality of Greater Hartford.

We are inviting our “Friends of the Festival” (FOF) to help us celebrate our 35th Anniversary in 2026 under this year’s theme: “Legacy in Every Note.”

This free-of-charge festival is sustained by charitable gifts and donations from foundations, businesses, and corporations, as well as grants from the City of Hartford and the State of Connecticut. The Festival is also generously supported by contributions from individual jazz lovers throughout the region and across the country.
